The Vancouver Island SDA group (VISDA) has a new exhibition opening soon:
Fibres @ the Hill; Nov 2-28, 2011 (open daily 10-5) at the Cedar Hill Recreation Centre, 3220 Cedar Hill Rd., Victoria, BC. The opening reception is on Nov 4th from 6-8pm.

Pat Crucil's exhibition of New Work opened at FibreWorks Gallery in Pender Harbour on Sept 25, 2011, and there were many people in attendance. We were celebrating not only the wonderful body of work that she has created in the last 18 months, and her contributions to the fibre arts world over the last 25 years, but also her 75th birthday. Here she is blowing out the candles on her three birthday cakes - yes, there were 75 candles! Pat's website. See her work also on the FibreWorks website.
